ANDVSA STATEMENT ON RACIAL EQUITY

ANDVSA joins individuals and organizations in our state and across this country and demand more accountability for state-sanctioned violence, and a resolute end to injustices built on practices and policies that are supported through and by institutionalized racism.  We are strengthened in the belief that our collective actions create the world we envision. Read ANDVSA's full statement here
COVID-19 IMPACTS: RESEARCH PROJECT OPPORTUNITY

The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is working with a team of IPV advocates, researchers, and healthcare providers on a research project interviewing IPV advocates to learn more about the ways that COVID-19 is impacting IPV survivors and their children. The goal of this study is to rapidly share recommendations and innovative practices with IPV advocates and victim services agencies around the country. The interview will focus on safety, resources, needs of IPV survivors and their children, and how victim services agencies have responded to COVID-19.

The interview is confidential, lasts 45-60 minutes, will take place over the phone, and is audio-recorded. Each participant will be given a $20 gift card to thank them for their time and expertise. If you are interested in participating, please email or call Maya Ragavan (ragavanm@chp.edu; office number: 412-692-6545; cell phone: 650-644-9954).
